- You can reset your advertising ID or turn off ad personalisation in Android at any time.

1. Scope
This policy applies to the Rates Info Android app published by Akkayar Codex, its push notifications and the website at https://akkayar.com. "Advertising" means any paid or promotional content shown to you, such as banner, interstitial, native, rewarded or app-open ads, sponsored content and affiliate links. The site itself carries no ads.
2. How ads work in the app
Rates Info uses Google AdMob, a service from Google LLC, to show ads. When an ad is requested, the AdMob software in the app contacts Google's servers, which choose an ad and record that it was shown or tapped. Ads may appear in formats such as banners, full-screen interstitials at natural breaks, native ads and optional rewarded ads. Every ad is labelled as an ad and is separate from the data we show.
3. Data stays independent of ads
Exchange rates, gold and fuel prices and lottery results are shown as published by their sources (see Data Sources). No bank, money changer, gold dealer, lottery operator or advertiser can pay us to change, rank, highlight or promote that data. Calculators and tables are the same for everyone.
4. What data ads use
To show and measure ads, and to prevent fraud, AdMob and Google may collect and process the following from your device. We do not receive this data about you in a form that identifies you.
| Data | Examples | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Advertising ID | The resettable Android advertising identifier | Frequency capping, measurement and, if you allow it, personalised ads |
| Device and network data | IP address, device model, operating system, language, approximate location derived from IP address | Deliver relevant, compliant ads and detect invalid traffic |
| Ad interaction data | Whether an ad was shown, tapped or closed | Measure performance and pay for ads |
| Diagnostics | Crash and performance information from the ad software | Keep ads reliable |
Google may act as an independent controller of some of this data. How Google uses it is explained in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and in the Google Privacy Policy. Our own handling of data is described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Consent and your choices
Consent
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, and wherever else the law requires it, the app shows a consent message from a certified consent management platform (Google's User Messaging Platform) before ads use your advertising ID or similar data. You may accept, decline or customise your choice. If you decline, you may still see ads, but they will be non-personalised.
Changing your mind
You can review or change your consent choice at any time from the privacy options in the app's Settings, where shown.
Device and account controls
- Reset or delete your advertising ID: Android Settings → Privacy → Ads (the path varies by device).
- Opt out of ad personalisation: in the same Ads settings screen.
- Google ad settings: manage personalisation for your Google account at myadcenter.google.com.
- Industry opt-outs: youradchoices.com, optout.networkadvertising.org and aboutads.info/appchoices.
Opting out of personalisation does not remove ads. It makes them less relevant to your interests.
6. Our advertising standards
We configure and monitor ads in line with the Google Play Developer Program Policies, the Google AdMob program policies and applicable law, and we commit to the following:
- Ads are clearly labelled and visibly separate from content, with no layouts that disguise ads as buttons, results or system messages.
- Ads are not placed where they cause accidental taps or cover navigation, rates, results or calculator keys.
- Full-screen ads appear only at natural breaks, such as moving between screens, never in the middle of reading a result or using a calculator, and never as an unexpected pop-up outside the app or on the lock screen.
- Frequency is limited so the app remains usable, and nothing is blocked behind an ad unless you choose an optional rewarded format.
- We do not click, encourage clicks on, or otherwise artificially generate ad impressions or taps.
7. Ad content we block
Because this app is about money and lottery results, we use AdMob's ad review and category controls to block, as far as the controls allow, ads for:
- real-money gambling, betting, lottery-ticket resale and "number prediction" schemes;
- predatory or misleading loans, unregulated currency-trading or "signal" services, pyramid schemes and cryptocurrency scams;
- claims of guaranteed returns or winnings, or ads claiming to provide "official" rates or results;
- adult content, weapons, tobacco, illegal drugs, counterfeit goods, malware and anything unlawful or deceptive.
No filter is perfect. If an unsuitable ad gets through, please report it (section 11) and we will block it.
8. Children and sensitive categories
Rates Info is a general-audience app and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly show personalised ads to children, and where we know a user is under the applicable age of consent, ads are limited to non-personalised formats. We do not use, and do not allow, ad targeting based on sensitive categories such as health, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation or financial hardship.
9. Notifications are not advertisements
Push notifications carry short informational updates about the app's content, such as rates or results. We do not use them to advertise third-party products. You can turn them off at any time in Android Settings → Apps → Rates Info → Notifications.
10. Sponsorship, affiliate links and lottery content
The app has no sponsored placements or affiliate links. If we add any, we will label them clearly and disclose the commercial relationship. Lottery results are shown for information only. Ads near them are not endorsements, and the app does not sell tickets, take bets or pay prizes.
11. Report an ad
- Take a screenshot if you can.
- Email support@akkayar.com with the screenshot, your device model and when you saw it.
- We will review it, block the advertiser or category if it breaks this policy, and reply to you.
You can also report an ad directly to Google using the information icon on the ad where one is shown.
12. app-ads.txt
We publish an app-ads.txt file at https://akkayar.com/app-ads.txt that lists the sellers authorised to sell our ad inventory, which helps protect advertisers and users from fraud.
13. Changes to this policy
We will post changes on this page with a new effective date. If we change how ads use your data, for example by adding another ad provider, we will update this policy and the Privacy Policy first, and ask for consent again where the law requires.
